Changing our layout was difficult since we wanted a Minimalist WordPress Theme, and even though there are a lot of Minimalist WordPress templates out there, that’s not enough for hungry bloggers designers, who want them as a start or to make a lighter WordPress Blog.
So I picked up the ones I liked the most, and will bring ‘em to you to share a lil bit of this desired treasure.
Sandbox: Is a very plain theme, especially made for designers, is a great start for those who wants to tweak a theme and make it fit your needs.
Barthelme: A great fluid design, 2 columns and built-in gallery support.
Blog.txt: Blog.txt is an elastic two- or three-column layout that is minimal: less than 300 lines of CSS.
plaintxtBlog: If all you want to do is write, this theme is for you just focus on the content.
Simplr: Simplr is the original one-column minimalist theme for WordPress. Ideal for customization, Simplr is light yet rich.
veryplaintxt: A fluid layout with a newspaper-ish feel with a solid layout and thoughtful design elements.
Neoclassical: An elegant 3 colums wordpress theme created by Chris Pearson.
Cutline: Another excellent theme created by Chris Pearson, and the one we are using right now, it’s just amazing.
WP Bats: A fixed width 2 columns theme created by Myo Kyaw Htun.
SubtleZen: is a minimalist WordPress theme with a calm background and subtle titles and headlines. It is ideal for bloggers looking for a simple layout which lets the visitors focus on the content.
Miniml: Is an excellent minimal theme, even though it’s free looks like a premium theme.
Minim8: Minim8 is an clean, minimalistic theme for WordPress designed by Phu Ly, but he ain’t got no more valid links to the theme download so i found another valid link.
Mallow: This is one of the oldest and best WP themes I’ve ever used made by Mathew from somefoolwitha.com, and still works with wordpress 2.x.
Mallow2: This is the sequel of the previous theme I showed you, still being developed but is ready to be used.
AC Nucleus: A green and white pastel tones, two-columns layout, simple, clean and minimalist theme to set peace of mind, relax and inspire.
Clean Slate: it’s a simple, straightforward design. It has 1 main column where the posts get written and a sidebar to the right for search, last posts, archives, advertising and so on.
News Time: It has 3 main columns where the posts get put and a sidebar to the right for search, last posts, archives, advertising and so on.
Modicus Remix 2.0 : Released free from Zidalgo.com, Modicus Remix is a super minimal WordPress theme.
White as Milk: is a clean wordpress theme that puts focus on the content rather than the design. Its easy to use and customize and the design stays out of your way.
IAMWW W2 DnD: It’s a very old WordPress Theme, but you still can get a lot of juice from this theme.
